Mayu Silk Art Workshop

The Mayu Silk Art Experience
Tuesday, March 15, 2016
2Kat Studios, Prescott, Arizona

3 sessions to choose from!

Mayu Silk ArtThe creative team at Mayu Silk Art is bringing the breathtakingly beautiful art of water marbling, with it’s fluid patterns and vivid colors, from coastal California to 2KatStudios in Prescott, AZ!

This art form is perfect for all ages and abilities from beginner to advanced – literally anyone can do this!!

Each session will explore traditional water marbling patterns as well as some of the more free-form designs. You will learn how to read a “cheat sheet” and troubleshoot paint or design issues, and you will work one-to-one with a Mayu Silk Art artisan to create your one-of-a-kind hand painted design on 100% silk, suitable as a scarf, table runner, window hanging, or other home or office decor.

Session 1:  9:30-11:00  $50 (includes 1 long scarf plus educational materials)

Session 2: 11:30-1:00  $50  (includes 1 long scarf plus educational materials)

Session 3:  2:00 – 5:00  $100 (includes 2 long scarves, educational materials, and a fun DIY water marbling creativity station, where you can test your colors and make coasters, gift cards, handkerchiefs, bandannas, and more).
